
Dancehall Artist Stonebwoy has been decreed the Best African Reggae/Dancehall Entertainer at the 38th International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA).
The super-skilled hitmaker was selected alongside his Ghanaian associates Shatta Wale and Epixode.
Artists in the selections of the category included Nigerian artistes Patoranking and Grammy-named act Burna Boy.
Stonebwoy has gigantically contributed his bit to the Reggae/Dancehall genre, thus his honor. The Award ceremony was authoritatively planned for March 29 but due to the worldwide pandemic, it was rescheduled and moved to one more week.
The International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) was prerecorded, and made for TV and Radio broadcast in perception of the Jamaican government’s, social separating methodology of three to six feet.
The founder of the Award scheme, Ephraim M. Martin, stretched out an exceptional gratefulness to reggae and music fans all over the world who have taken an interest in the voting procedure.
He expressed that because of the presence of the pandemic, the plaques would be given to the winners later.
