Ghana’s Dr. George Anagli Selected As A Member Of WHO’s FIDES Network

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has selected Ghana’s Dr. George Anagli as a member of its FIDES Network.

Dr. Anagli who is passionate about improving public health has now been appointed to assist with raising good contents and fighting the rising rate of misinformation, participants about health.

The World Health Organization supports the FIDES network of health influencers in its efforts to produce influential content and assist in the fight against misinformation.

Fides is an online network that the World Health Organization (WHO) created with the help of social media-savvy healthcare professionals as part of its efforts to combat misinformation about COVID-19 and increase vaccine acceptance worldwide.

The goal of the network is to prevent health-related misinformation from spreading on social media and to help the general public make decisions about their health based on information and evidence.

The Fides community has more than 100 members and more than 50 million social media followers.

Collaboration Between FIFA and the World Health Organization Extended

The name Fides comes from the goddess of confidence in Roman folklore, Fides. Additionally, the name is associated with honesty, dependability, and loyalty (bona fides).
