The ‘Stolen’ Artefacts Are Now Back To The Asantehene
This comes precisely seven days after the overlord of Dagbon, Yaa-Naa Abukari II passed his significant appreciation and reverence on to Otumfuo for the neighborly settlement that has since rendered his Kingdom peaceful.
The Dagbon chieftaincy struggle, some way or another considered political, continued for seventeen (17) years between the two illustrious families in the Kingdom after the homicide of Yaa-Naa Yakubu Andani in 2002.
The two parties would not accept a resolution that was satisfactory until the Committee of Eminent Chiefs (CEC), led by Otumfuo, was established. Several committees were established.
