On September 3, the Government of Ghana held its second Regional Townhall meeting in the Eastern region.
This social event brought together Government officials and other prominent analysts to deliberate on economic issues.
During the event, Deputy Minister for Finance, Hon. Dr Alex Ampaabeng confirmed the government’s commitment to fulfilling its promises and doing more for the people of Ghana.
At the meeting in Koforidua, Dr Ampaabeng further spoke about key economic successes that demonstrate the government’s devotion to improving the lives of Ghanaians.
According to the deputy minister, the days of erratic power supply are over; thanks to their efforts.
Today, businesses can work with confidence, and families now enjoy uninterrupted power, which is fundamental to the economic growth and development.

Other speakers at the meeting were: Hon. Information Minister Hon. Fatimatu Abubakar, Minister for the Eastern Region Seth Kwame Acheampong, as well as Health expert, Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare.
The meeting ended successfully after all speakers focused on economic achievements that show that the government is committed to making Ghanaians’ lives better.
