There are a lot of well-known artists on the lineup for this year’s Grammy Awards. Performers like Sabrina Carpenter and Billie Eilish, among many others nominated in major categories, will take the stage for performances that will never be forgotten.
At the 67th annual Grammy Awards ceremony, the first round of performers was revealed. Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims are among the other performers in addition to the ones listed above.
These musicians have not only performed but also received nominations for various Music Academy Award categories. The second list of performers will be announced in the coming days. Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. released a statement about the important changes at this year’s ceremony.
“The upcoming Grammy Awards won’t just be about celebrating and honoring the best in music this year,” he said, as reported by Deadline. It will show how music holds the power to uplift and bring people together in times of crisis, such as the Los Angeles wildfires”.
Mason says a lot of musicians are coming together to support musicians and others affected by the recent wildfires.
In order to increase support for those impacted by the crisis in Los Angeles and the city as a whole, the statement also stated that a number of events that “traditionally” comprise Grammy Week have been canceled or reorganized. Additionally, the event will raise money for significant relief efforts in the wake of the devastating wildfires.
Trevor Noah will host the 2025 Grammy Awards for the fifth time in a row. With eleven nominations for her country album Cowboy Carter, Beyonce, meanwhile, dominated this year’s nominations. For the single, who last received ten nominations in 2009, this nomination marks a personal high.
Alongside Beyonce, musicians such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter are nominated in major categories.
