Heartbreak For Rihanna: Dad Passes Away After Sudden Illness

Ronald Fenty, Rihanna’s father, died at the age of 70. The cause of his brief illness has not been made public, but he passed away in Los Angeles.

According to reports, Rihanna and her brother Rajad Fenty were among the family members present at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at the time of his death.

Rihanna and Ronald Fenty, who was born in Barbados, had a complicated relationship. Her parents divorced when she was 14 due to his substance misuse and domestic problems, which characterized her early years.

They eventually got back together in spite of these obstacles. Rihanna talked about mending their relationship in a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey, recognizing both the good and the bad parts of their relationship.
