At a religious event that was streamed online from a concert hall in Feira de Santana, a city in northeastern Brazil, Henrique, 30, was performing his hit song “Vai Ser T Lindo.”
A video of the sad moment showed Henrique interfacing with the crowd as he moved toward the front of the stage, before he unexpectedly imploded on his back, shocking his band and the audience.
People who attended the event rushed to help Henrique, who was then taken to a clinic nearby but was declared dead.

Todah Music, Henrique’s record label, has confirmed that a serious heart attack was the cause of his death.
Todah Music wrote on Instagram,
“These are very difficult situations in life for which we have no explanation”. We just need to understand that the will of God prevails.”
Henrique was also honored by the record label, which described him as “a cheerful young man, a friend to all. Only child. A present husband and a super dedicated father.”
Henrique is survived by his wife, Suilan Barreto, and his daughter, Zoe, who was born few months ago (October 19).
Henrique had joked with a friend that he wanted fame because he was tired hours before his fatal performance.
“I’m tired, I’m tired,” he said. “That why I want fame. I’m tired.”
In 2015, Henrique launched his professional career by uploading a few songs to his YouTube channel. The journey then began.
