On Monday, August 26, Hillary Clinton withdrew from the Hamptons fundraiser for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz after the former secretary of state was infected with COVID-19.

At the Sag Harbor event, Bill Clinton, Harris’ husband and former president, and second gentleman Doug Emhoff took the stage to speak.

The event was held at the home of mega-art collectors Lisa and Richard Perry, who are known to have works by Donald Judd, Alexander Calder, Ellsworth Kelly, and Frank Stella, among other well-known artists, in their collection.

The most expensive tier of tickets cost a cool $100,000 each. One of the last small events in the New York area before the election is probably this.

Meanwhile, sources claimed that two events in the Hamptons on Monday raised more than $2 million.

The invitation stated that the event’s chairs included notables such as Laurie Tisch, Brooke Garber Neidich and Dan Neidich, Sharon and Jon Corzine, Crystal McCrary McGuire and Ray McGuire, and others.

Another Democratic fundraiser was held earlier in the day at the residence of MWW chief Michael Kempner, a prominent Clinton supporter.

Numerous attendees of the convention in Chicago later tested positive for COVID-19, according to sources. On social media, a number of people shared information about their diagnoses.
