As a number of fires tore through Los Angeles on Wednesday, with wind gusts exceeding 100 miles per hour in the Palisades, Eaton, and surrounding areas, many Hollywood celebrities were forced to leave their mansions in early January.
More than 30,000 people in Los Angeles were forced to leave their homes for safety after California Governor Gavin Newsom proclaimed a state of emergency.
Numerous famous people who lived in the region fled during this tragic episode to protect their families’ and their lives.
• Paris Hilton’s Malibu house was tragically affected by the fires. After the fire made its way to Malibu, it destroyed Paris Hilton’s beautiful beachfront property.
Hilton wrote in a long Instagram statement that she was “heartbroken beyond words” after witnessing her vacation house “burn to the ground on live TV.”
She stated that her 11:11 Media Impact team is planning a strategy to “best support” victims and affirmed that her family was safe.
According to reports, Hilton and her husband Carter Reum paid $8.4 million for their picturesque Malibu home.
• Unfortunately, the wildfire also destroyed the home of Spencer Pratt and his wife, Heidi Montag. Posing just a few yards from the burning house, the couple declared that they were regrettably among the many people who lost their house to the fire.
The home of Montag and Pratt “burned to the ground,” according to a later source. The “one positive sign” of the fire, according to Pratt’s heartfelt Instagram post, was that his son’s bed “burned in the shape of a heart.”
“A sign of how much love was in this house so thankful for all the years and memories there with our family,” the “Hills” alum said in closing.
• Adam Brody and Leighton Meester also lost their home. Their lavish $6.5 million Los Angeles property painfully burned down. The property is located in the Pacific Palisades. The couple — who celebrated Brody’s Golden Globes nomination just days before the massive blaze — did not immediately comment on the devastating matter.
• Anna Faris’ also saw her house burned down as a result of the California rage. She is one of the Hollywood stars to lose her multimillion dollar mansion because of the blaze. Faris’ mansion was eco-friendly. The “House Bunny” star reportedly purchased the Pacific Palisades property for $4.9 million in 2018.

• Miles Teller and Keleigh Teller’s home was burned down as well. The couple lost their dream home in Pacific Palisades, which they just bought in for $7.5 million, as a result of the wildfire.
• Eugene Levy was forced to evacuate his Los Angeles estate after the fire broke out in the Pacific Palisades neighborhood. The actor Eugene Levy told the Los Angeles Times on Jan. 7 that he even got trapped in traffic due to other fleeing residents attempting to leave his Pacific Palisades neighborhood.
“The smoke looked pretty black and intense over Temescal Canyon. I couldn’t see any flames but the smoke was very dark.” the “American Pie” star said.
• The California wildfires also caused Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins to lose his house. After the fires, his Pacific Palisades home was reduced to a heap of rubble. His home was totally destroyed by fire. The “Silence of the Lambs” star spent 25 years living in a different mansion in the same neighborhood before moving into the house that was destroyed by the fire.
The fire outbreak affected many celebrities, including comics Billy Crystal, John Goodman, actor Cameron Mathison, Cobie Smulders, Diane Warren, Cary Elwes, Fergie, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson, Ben Affleck, Harrison Ford, Sandra Lee, James Wood, and Mark Hamill.
