After becoming the Olympic 100m champion of the world at the 2024 Olympics in Paris, the American athlete Noah Lyles says he wants a trainer for himself.
Meanwhile, Lyles said, after winning the 100-meter race:
‘I’m the man. I’m the wolf among wolves,’ says Lyles.
The reigning title holder has asked for his own customized coach — taking note of that not even the US olympic style sports legend Michael Johnson had one made for him.
Noah Lyles has insisted for a long time that he wants to become a global influencer by winning three gold medals in Paris. However, after defeating Jamaican Kishane Thompson, his ambitions increased.
Lyles, who is the main character in the new Netflix Sprint documentary, said that he deserved it because he won three world championships and the Olympic title in Budapest last year.

“I want my own shoe – I want my own trainer. I am dead serious. There is no money in spikes. Even Michael Johnson didn’t have his own sneaker. For how many medals we bring back, for the notoriety that we get, the fact that hasn’t happened is crazy.”
“After the race, we were waiting for names to pop,” he said. “I am honest, I came over and told Kishane, ‘I think you’ve got the Olympics, big dog.’ He was in lane four. I was in lane seven. I couldn’t really see what was happening.
“I was fully prepared to see his name pop up. To see mine, I was like: ‘Goodness gracious, I’m incredible.’ This is the one I wanted. Everybody came prepared for the fight and I wanted to prove that I’m the man among all of them. I’m the wolf among wolves.”
On Monday, August 5, Lyles will compete in the men’s 200-meter heats once more. He thinks he will run a time that could challenge Usain Bolt’s world record and win gold.
