I’m The Best Player In The World”— Vinicius Jr.

Vinicius Jr., a forward for Real Madrid and Brazil, was named the world’s best player at the most recent FIFA Best Player Awards.

Shortly after winning, the player posted on social media to express his excitement. The Real Madrid player claimed that his time had come and that they attempted to discredit and even devalue him.

He expressed gratitude to his family, friends, Flamengo, Madrid, and the Brazilian national team.

In this year’s Paris Ballon d’Or, Vinicius Jr. finished second to Rodri Hernandez of Spain.

It’s interesting to note that it elicited a variety of responses worldwide, with many people believing Vinicius ought to have received the honor. However, the prolific striker now has a new chapter in his life.

FIFA’s The Best Award, which recognizes him as the year’s best football player, has gone to the Brazilian as the new winner.

Vinicius posted his thoughts on social media to his followers a few hours after he was given the award. He was so happy that he sent a message of gratitude and confirmation.

“Veni, Vidi, Vici. Today I am writing to that child who has seen so many idols lift that trophy: his time has come. Or rather, my time has come. The moment to say… yes, I am the best player in the world and I have fought hard for it,” began the Real Madrid player.

“They tried and are trying to invalidate me, to diminish me. But they are not ready. Nobody is going to tell me who I should fight for, how I should behave. When I was in Sao Goncalo, the system didn’t care about me. They almost swallowed me,” Vinicius continued.

“I won for me, for my family. With a lot of support along the way: Flamengo, Real Madrid, the Brazilian national team, my hundreds of teammates over the years… the people who accompany me every day in my routine, those who admire me…”, the Brazilian concluded.
