Tina Knowles and Oprah Winfrey with the Memoir

Setting the record straight on outrageous family myths is only one of the many topics Beyoncé’s mother has discussed in her new biography, ‘Matriarch’.

Tina Knowles published “Matriarch,” her candid memoir, along with certain unspoken facts. The mother of Beyoncé and Solange Knowles used her book as a platform to correct a number of outrageous rumors that her family had heard over the years.

“This is the time. In an interview with the Los Angeles Times, Tina stated, “I wanted to tell the story personally and not have anyone else do it because people have so many misconceptions about my family.”

Tina is a grandma to their children in addition to being the mother of Grammy winner Solange. She disclosed that her inclination to shield her grandchildren—including Solange’s 20-year-old son Julez Smith and Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s daughters Blue Ivy, Rumi, and Sir—was the inspiration behind the novel.

She was concerned that they would eventually read the “lies” and falsehoods that individuals had posted online about the family. But recounting the tales on behalf of her daughters is not the exclusive focus of the biography. Tina went on, “They have their own stories to tell.”

Beyoncé’s fictitious pregnancy was one of the rumors she denied. She remembered being powerless because of this strange scenario.

“It was the worst because I couldn’t say anything,” she told People magazine.

Tina found it exceedingly “painful” to deal with the pop star’s alleged pregnancy fraud involving her daughter Blue Ivy.

The most valuable persons in her life, she told the site, are her family. It was therefore terrible to hear and see people saying terrible things about them. What Tina believed to be the most sacred thing in the world was tarnished by the comments.

She included additional family information in the memoir, such as Solange’s pregnancy at the age of 17, breast cancer diagnosis and more.
