
Los Angeles County is in ‘hot waters’, as public health officials have announced 148 new Covid-19 passings on the eve of Christmas, the second day straight that the district reported its most elevated number of new deaths.
According to the Director of Public Health Barbara Ferrer, since a significant number of these deaths are preventable, and that their aggregate spotlight should be on doing option to save lives.
As at December 24, there were around 6,500 people hospitalized with Covid-19 in the province, 20% of whom are in serious consideration units. In the most recent week alone, the division says, the quantity of Covid-19 patients in medical clinics has expanded by more than 1,600.
