She urged the general public, particularly Amenfi Central residents, to treat the allegation with the utmost contempt.

The following is her full statement:

Clarification on Misrepresentation of My Business Activities

I have been made aware of deliberate attempts to falsely link my image to illegal mining operations. I categorically deny these allegations and reaffirm my strong stance against illegal mining.

As a responsible business leader, I have consistently promoted sustainable practices through Golden Empire Legacy Limited, a fully licensed and regulated company that exports gold in strict adherence to environmental and legal standards.

For years, I have championed environmentally conscious and socially responsible practices, opposing the destruction of our environment, water pollution, and exploitation of natural resources.

I urge the public to disregard baseless claims made by political opponents aimed at tarnishing my reputation. These allegations are not only false but also malicious.

Sincerely,
Joana Gyan Cudjoe
