With his fantastic strike against CA Osasuna, the Athletic Club forward Iñaki Williams joins a select list of Lions to reach at 100 goals as a Lion.
The game against Osasuna was especially exceptional for Iñaki Williams, as his strike, fourteenth of the time, saw him hit the 100 goal mark for Athletic Club, an accomplishment which only 19 other players have clocked.
The match was also his 419th appearance as a Lion, moving him level with fellow club legends like Panizo and Ismael Urzaiz.
Williams’ first Athletic goal came in a 2-2 draw against Torino in the 2015 Europa League. From that point forward, he has scored six additional goals in Europe, 76 in LaLiga, 16 in the Copa and the winner in Athletic Club’s 2020/21 Spanish Super Cup win over FC Barcelona.
