Ireland Named As One Of The Safest European Countries..

A recent study by Gamblino ranked Ireland as the seventh safest country in Europe for tourists.

According to SchengenVisaInfo.com, the study emphasized tourist hotspots like the Guinness Storehouse and Temple Bar, as well as the country’s natural beauty and rich history, tradition, and culture.

The most recent survey used an analysis of nine metrics, including the global peace index, natural disaster risk, road facilities, and assaults and homicides, to determine a location’s level of safety.

On the other hand, Switzerland was at the top of the list and was called a must-see destination for tourists who want to see the beauty of the European countries. Iceland was ranked as the second most desirable destination, followed by Norway.

For the ninth year in a row, Ireland topped the list of Europe’s most popular travel destinations in December of last year.

In the United States Museum of Natural History in New York, Ireland received the Travel Weekly Reader’s Choice Award.

The Irish Tourism Industry Confederation (ITIC) previously stated that the tourism industry in Ireland could significantly decline this year, despite the fact that it is unlikely to reach levels prior to the pandemic until 2026.

One of Ireland’s most important industries is tourism, which contributes more than €5 billion to the Irish economy each year and employs nearly 6% of the population.
