Is Neymar Just About Quitting Football After Strange ACL Injury?

Neymar, the Brazilian soccer star, says that there were days during his recovery from a serious knee injury when he almost gave up on football.

The forward for Al Hilal hasn’t played since October 2023 because he tore the meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee while playing for his country.

The 32-year-old recently discussed his recovery process and demonstrated his resilience on Instagram.

He penned:

“After I suffered this injury, there are days that are difficult, there are days that I want to give up. It’s hard to go through all of this.

“But here’s a warrior who won’t stop until I get what I want! God is my strength and my fortress. We will continue fighting every day.”

After signing a two-year contract with Al Hilal in August 2023, Neymar only made five appearances before suffering the injury that ended the season.
