Today happens to be the first day of the long stretch of July, and as everybody is outfitting to confront it, the Head of the Catholic Church and sovereign of the Vatican City State, Pope Francis has just lectured harmony to the world with a touching tweet via social media.
The Vatican leader who is the first Jesuit pope, the first from the Americas, the first from the Southern Hemisphere, and the primary pope from outside Europe since the Syrian Gregory III, is beseeching the world to live at peace with one another.
He has invited everyone to abandon bitterness behind and spotlight on making harmony with one another.
In the tweet, the 83 year old Argentine wrote:
‘Evil never gives peace. It causes frenzy first then leaves bitterness. Instead, God’s voice never promise cheap, easily acquired joy. He invited us to go beyond our ego to find that true good: Peace’
