Italian Ambassador And Asantehene Discuss Future Investment Opportunities

May 21, 2025, Kumasi Her Excellency In order to fortify the long-standing ties between Italy and the Ashanti Kingdom and to properly introduce herself to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Italian Ambassador to Ghana Laura Ranalli made a historic courtesy visit to the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.

The Ambassador’s first formal meeting with the esteemed monarch since taking office was this visit. Ambassador Ranalli honored the Asantehene in accordance with custom and diplomatic etiquette and reiterated Italy’s dedication to promoting respect and collaboration with Ghana’s traditional leaders.
