In contrast to Singaporeans, who are prohibited from entering any country without a passport despite possessing the strongest passport in the world, Italian citizens are also eligible to enter 44 countries without a passport.

In the past three months, Italy’s passport ranked second globally and was the strongest in Europe.

In comparison to the EU, the Italian passport ranked second in terms of power in February and March, trailing only the Spanish passport.

With this passport, Italian citizens can enter ten countries with an electronic travel authorization (eTA), while they can enter 20 countries with a visa-on-arrival (VOA).
