Items From Elton John’s Wardrobe Are Up For Sale

Elton John is selling items from his wardrobe in order to raise money for the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

The rock star is giving his fans the opportunity to own some of the singer’s eye-catching outfits. The singer is known worldwide for his distinctive sense of fashion.

The 77-year-old performer is auctioning off many things from his own wardrobe on eBay, with all returns of the sale going to his Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Some of the items for sale are: On eBay Inc., you can find clothing, shoes, accessories, and more. Customized Prada loafers, Versace robes, and Gucci jackets are among the many high-end items currently for sale. Baseball caps and historic concert t-shirts are two items that are more affordable.

All proceeds from the 10-day auction, which began on Thursday, June 27, will go to the charity John founded in 1992 with the goal of eradicating the AIDS epidemic by 2030.

Speaking in the press release of the eBay “Rocket Man Resale,” John said:

“Giving new life to the cherished items from my wardrobe has always been special to me. For decades I’ve donated my closet’s treasures to support the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

Even better, every dollar goes to supporting the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s work to end LGBTQ+ stigma.”

Meanwhile, other celebrities are also selling off some of their personal items for the cause, including Furnish, fashion designer Donatella Versace and singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile.
