
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has increased its filing fee for the president of the football administering body from GHȼ5,000 to GHȼ50,000.
The relationship in a communiqué to members on June 24, 2023, expressed that the organization of the elections is costly, subsequently their decision to speak to Congress to support the new filing fee.
In 2019, the now-old Normalization Committee charged GHȼ5,000 per competitor, however the current FA president Kurt Okraku and his administration has increased the figure to GHȼ50,000 following a proposition from the elections Board.

The Executive Council nomination form which was GHȼ2,500 has been increased to GHȼ15,000 while Regional Football Association (RFAs) nomination form will be for GHȼ10,000.
The RFA slot on the Executive Council will cost GH5,000, the District Chairman will cost GH1,000, and forms for the District Executive Council will also be GH5,000.
The GFA anticipates that Congress will approve the proposal when it meets on July 10, 2023.
