James Gardiner Takes Over As The New Deputy Exec. Secretary Of National Film Authority

James Gardiner, a well-known actor and television personality, was named the deputy Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority (NFA) by President John Dramani Mahama on February 27, 2025.

In order to promote Ghana’s film industry, the multiple award-winning actor says he will be dedicated to working with industry stakeholders. He declared that he is prepared to hear complaints and discuss how they can collaborate to get the industry to its proper position.

Ghana’s film industry is developed and regulated by the National Film Authority, which is in charge of production, distribution, and the application of laws. It is expected that as the Deputy Secretary, his leadership will infuse the company with new ideas and vitality.
