On Thursday, October 31, when she took the stage in Las Vegas, Lopez was fervent in support of Kamala Harris.
J Lo criticized Donald Trump for hosting a Madison Square Garden rally that many people thought was racist after she endorsed Harris.
On Thursday evening, the vice presidential candidate and Democratic nominee held her own rally in Nevada.
In front of a large crowd, J Lo made her much-anticipated appearance on stage with Kamala and gave her a big hug.
Lopez gave an emotional speech in which she slammed Trump for his event at Madison Square Garden, where some supporting comedians were attacking Puerto Ricans, and she did so while taking the VP seal off the podium.
You may recall that Hinchcliffe referred to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage,” which did not go over well with the Puerto Rican people and J Lo, who is of Puerto Rican descent despite being born and raised in New York City.
Lopez said in her speech:
“Trump has consistently divided us and Sunday’s MSG rally was a stark reminder of that. Trump offended not only Puerto Ricans, but every Latino in America”.
She went on …
“I am a mother. I am a sister. I am an actor and an entertainer. And I like Hollywood endings. I like when the good guy, and in this case, the good girl wins.”
It is days away from the U.S election to come off, and Lopez now has Kamala’s support. She is just one of many famous people who have backed Kamala Harris.
