He became the oldest Grammy nominee in Recording Academy history when he received his tenth nomination at the age of 100.

The former president received a nomination for his album “Last Sundays in Plains: A Centennial Celebration” in the Best Audiobook, Narration, and Storytelling Recording category.

Carter provided the voiceover for the album, which was released in October of this year to commemorate his 100th birthday.
