Through significant initiatives that are changing lives and creating the groundwork for a better future, Hon. Joana Gyan Cudjoe, Member of Parliament for Amenfi Central, continues to advocate for educational development in her constituency.

Although the government is alone responsible for advancing the education system, the Hon. Member of Parliament asserts that she is prepared to contribute in her own ways.

Hon. Cudjoe has even started preparations to build a university in Amenfi Central, displaying a daring vision for long-term effect. Key academic fields that are crucial for regional development, such as business administration, nursing, teacher education, and agriculture, will be the emphasis of the proposed university.

Hon. Cudjoe established the Educational Fund Program to assist students who are struggling with tuition arrears in order to alleviate the financial burden that tertiary students experience. She has provided more than GH¢90,000 in direct educational support to students as part of her projects.

Additionally, she is trying to raise the standard of education and learning in her district.

Every year, more than 1,200 students get financial aid and scholarships from the Joana Gyan Foundation. In order to maintain the delivery of education, she has also stepped in to cover teacher salary payments in schools where government financing is delayed.
