John Legend has announced that he will begin his Christmas tour on December 2nd. In a recent interview with PEOPLE, he mentioned this.
This holiday season, John Legend is returning to his tour with a four-piece band on stage. Both will perform classic holiday songs from John Legend’s album “A Legendary Christmas,” which was released in 2018. John Legend stated in the interview that:
“My hope for these shows is that they feel like a gathering of friends by the fireside — where the music brings warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness”
Legend has always had a special relationship with Christmas, but over time, perceptions have changed.
She stated,
“Each version of me — from my childhood to now as a father — has shaped the way I approach this season,” she said. He wants to share that journey with his listeners in hopes of generating a similar festive spirit. “I hope people leave feeling like they’ve been part of something warm, familiar, and special,” he said.
According to the “Minefields” singer, he will bring his love of storytelling to the tour and reflect on his career, life, and growing family.
With model and cookbook author Chrissy Teigen, he has four children: daughters Luna, 8, Esti, 20 months, and Miles, 6, and Wren, 14 months.
