
Ghana’s president-elect, John Mahama, has been traveling to neighboring countries and beyond in order to establish new relationships with their heads of state while he awaits his inauguration on January 7, 2025.
In keeping with his pledge to cultivate close ties with their friends and neighbors in West Africa and on the continent, he has also met with the presidents of Gabon, Guinea Bissau, and Equatorial Guinea.
The common ideals and hopes for advancement throughout the continent were reaffirmed during his conversations with the various leaders.
In order to make sure that their partnerships benefit not only their various countries but also the people they serve, he met with these Presidents and they discussed ways to work together in the areas of trade, security, and sustainable development.
Mr. Mahama says he will keep working for a better, more prosperous future for the young and the weak, both inside and outside the subregion.
