Assin South MP, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour has been charged by Government Communications Minister Felix Kwakye Ofosu with spreading misleading information about two planes that touched down in Ghana.
Fordjour had claimed that these planes were connected to money laundering and narcotics trafficking.
According to Kwakye Ofosu, Fordjour refused to work with security services despite being asked to help with investigations, claiming he was speaking on behalf of a committee and that his opinions were not personal.
Fordjour responded by denying that security agencies had invited him and by criticizing the government’s handling of the situation, saying it was avoiding responsibility and hiding important information.
But according to Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Reverend John Ntim Fordjour is just making a big deal out of nothing.
