Under the direction of Mrs. Ursula Owusu-Ekuful (MP), the Ministry of Communications and Digitalization is leading the Girls-In-ICT initiative, a flagship program designed to empower girls to pursue careers in STEM fields and close the gender digital divide.
Girls throughout Ghana will participate in extensive ICT training sessions as part of the program, which ends with a regional competition to display the girls’ abilities.
A successful phase that trained and engaged 1,000 girls came to an end with the Ashanti Regional edition’s climax.
