BTS member Jungkook has set a Guinness World Record with his soloist debut song, ‘Seven’, featuring American rapper Latto by surpassing one billion streams in 109 days.

Jungkook broke the record of 112 days set by Miley Cyrus’ song named ‘Flowers’. The single titled “Seven” marked the singer’s solo debut in July 2023. Latto contributes her rap to the popular song.

Seven was released with an official music video on July 14. There are versions of the song that are clean and explicit. The explicit ‘Seven‘ has now entered the Guinness World Record book after surpassing one billion Spotify streams.

The Guinness World Record announced the exciting news on November 6 via its X (previously Twitter) handle. ‘Seven’ by BTS’ Jungkook outperformed one billion streams on the audio streaming platform Spotify. The track accomplished this new feat in 109 days, from its release date on October 30.

The song by broke The Kid LAROI and Justin Bieber’s record of 118 days for “Stay and Harry Styles’ As It Was.” It also set a new record for ‘Flowers’ by Miley Cyrus, which had one billion streams in 112 days. ‘Seven’ additionally reached on Spotify’s daily Top Songs Worldwide at No.1 on its release day.
