Kaakie Makes A Return To Music After A Long Break

Ghanaian dancehall sensation, Kaakie, is all good to return to the music scene. The singer revealed this in a recent interview with 3FM’s Giovani and AJ Sarpong.

The singer said,

“By God’s Grace, I am coming back into the music scene. I have just not been silent; I have been working behind the scenes, and I haven’t been alone. I have had genuine support from my husband, pushing me to come back”.

The singer and nurse from the UK got married on January 2, 2020, in a traditional ceremony, to her high schoolmate from Achimota School. In November of the same year, they had their first child, who is a girl.

Prior to going for a music break, Kaakie signed her first record deal with Xtra Large Music subsequent to featuring in one of the unscripted TV dramas on television called ‘Stars Of The Future”. She competed in this singing competition that aired on television for several weeks; but was kicked out along the way and finished fifth.

From that point, she met with famous Ghanaian Sound engineer/executive producer, JMJ Baby (Joshua Raphaelson) – Courtesy Charter House – and she got signed to his record label – XTRA LARGE MUSIC.
