Regardless of being a dropout from College, Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West is helping high school students reach at that level.
Kanye is allegedly opening Donda Academy – a private academy named after his late mother, Donda West, right outside Los Angeles in Simi Valley, California.
Donda Academy, under West’s initiative, desires to build a b-ball program sufficiently able to match local stalwart Sierra Canyon.
The project has also secured a partnership with Adidas – the brand of West’s acclaimed Yeezy shoes and landing five-star possibilities Jalen Hooks, Robert Dillingham, and Jakhi Howard regardless of having no coach yet.
As per Yahoo Sports, Donda Academy and Sierra Canyon – home of LeBron James’ child, Bronny James – are having a discussion about a potential Staples Center gathering in February.
Snares, Dillingham, and Howard are a long way from the main high-profile enrolls West desires to draw. Kanye West apparently followed and sent a direct message two top recruits on Instagram to try to get them to Donda Academy.
In the mean time, the 22-time GRAMMY winner, Kanye West is falling off his tenth No. 1 album in Donda. The album was out on the 29th of August and sold 309,000 identical album units its first week, the greatest debut of 2021 until Drake’s Certified Lover Boy.
