Kanye West has spoken about his purported sex tape that has resurfaced, which was made public after Kevin “KB” Blatt of Hollywood allegedly prevented it from being released.
In response to a post that included screenshots of Blatt’s Instagram story, the rapper claimed to have prevented West’s sex tape from being released more than ten years ago.
Blatt, a Jewish man with prior experience as a marketing and public relations specialist, made the allegations.
“Hey @ye Remember that sex tape I helped take off the market for you in 2012 … in Vegas?” Blatt, 55, captioned the post, which featured a shirtless West.
West’s social media post is the most recent in an odd string of remarks that have all since been removed. In a subsequent interview, Blatt stated that he hoped West’s Instagram attack would teach him “a lesson.”

In December 2016, his cousin Lawrence Franklin told the Daily Mail that the rediscovered sex tape, which purportedly shows Kanye West and an unidentified woman, was taken from a laptop the music producer had given to a relative.
“That Was A Fun Night Can’t Wait To See It Again”, Kanye wrote on X on February 15, 2025.

Around the time that West started dating Kim Kardashian, his first wife, in late 2012, the tape was found.
Remarkably, Kanye West was confident that this rated video would never be made public. According to Franklin, he consequently allegedly paid out a substantial amount—more than $250,000—to keep it sealed.
Allegedly, the funds were utilized to ensure that no duplicates of the video were made.
“I had a cousin that stole my laptop that I was f–kin’ bitches on / Paid that n—a 250,000 just to get it from him / Real friends / Huh?”
Blatt’s Instagram story was posted on the same day that Bianca Censori, West’s second wife, and he were rumored to have split up.

After the couple’s red carpet appearance at the Grammys, where Censori wore a dress that was entirely see-through, they broke up.
Meanwhile, Kanye commended his wife for overcoming all of these recent obstacles.
“She’s been an awesome wife and awesome collaborator, she’s been through so many crazy moments, but this one may be unsurvivable”, Kanye Eulogized Bianca.
