Ibrahim Adjei says that Ken Ofori-Atta was Nana Akuffo-Addo‘s greatest failure. He made these remarks on Monday, April 28, whilst on Channel One TV.
According to the former assistant secretary in former President Nana Akufo-Addo’s office, Ken Ofori-Atta was the issue facing the government at the time.
Despite internal calls for reform, Adjei chastised Akufo-Addo for not rearranging his ministers, especially with reference to Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta.
He blamed this hesitation on personal allegiance, pointing out that the president did nothing despite 120 members of parliament calling for Ofori-Atta’s ouster.
Adjei underlined that the New Patriotic Party lost the general elections in 2024 as a result of these decisions.
