Kendrick Lamar will join multi-Grammy winner SZA on the Super Bowl halftime stage.

On February 9, the two would lead the halftime celebrations from the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

It’s interesting to note that SZA was once Lamar’s labelmate at Top Dawg Entertainment. She even made an appearance on Lamar’s most recent album, “GNX,” where she was featured on a few tracks, such as “Gloria” and “Luther,” which also included Luther Vandross and Cheryl Lynn sampled vocals through “If This World Were Mine.”

The Oscar-nominated films “All the Stars” and “Doves in the Wind” are among the duo’s prior hits.

This spring and summer, Lamar and SZA will also co-head a tour of 19 cities in North America. The Grand National Tour begins in Minneapolis on April 19 and ends in Washington, D.C., on June 18.

For the single “Saturn,” SZA is nominated for two Grammy Awards in the R&B song and performance categories. In total, she has four Grammy awards.

Lamar has seven nominations for the Grammy Awards, including “Like That,” which he co-wrote with Future and Metro Boomin, and “Not Like Us,” which is notably nominated for song and record of the year. He has received 17 Grammys in total.

The halftime show will be co-executive produced by Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins and Roc Nation.

pgLang, a creative firm established by Lamar and Dave Free, who has directed the rapper’s music videos in the past, will provide the creative direction for Lamar’s performance.

With a star-studded show featuring H.E.R., Jermaine Dupri, Lil Jon, Ludacris, and Alicia Keys, Usher made a huge impression back in 2024.

However, there are a lot of expectations for this year’s event.
