Kendrick Lamar Leaves TDE After Years With Them

Kendrick Lamar has been with Top Dawg Entertainment (TDE), a label that has worked with the rapper for 17 years. Now it’s time Lamar leaves the label and move on- -as indicated by Kendrick Lamar.

The artist has via social media announced on the 20th of August that, he’s currently releasing his last album for his label Top Dawg Entertainment. He posted an image of a desktop folder labelled “nu thoughts” with a link to a message on his website.

As per Lamar, he is at present working on his final album for TDE, the label that aided him through his journey, which is additionally home to likes of SZA, ScHoolBoy Q, Ab-Soul, Jay Rock, and Isaiah Rashad.

Kendrick’s last album was the Grammy Award-winning ‘Damn’, which was released in 2017.

Meanwhile, last September, the rapper was spotted recording a music video in Los Angeles, while The Game uncovered in June that the head of TDE revealed to him Kendrick would be getting back with new music very soon.
