Ten years after she was the victim of a life-threatening robbery in Paris, Kim Kardashian is about to pursue justice. Five masked men burst into the Kardashians star’s Paris hotel room on October 3, 2016, robbing her of jewelry valued at over $10 million at gunpoint.
The founder of SKIMS, who testified verbally on the subject in 2017, will testify in person at the trial. The lengthy investigation led to the discovery of 17 individuals involved in the crime, including the limo driver Kim had hired while in the city.
Twelve individuals were charged with the crime in 2021, according to TMZ. The reality actress was gagged, bound with tape and cables, and put in her room’s bathtub during the robbery. She has repeatedly acknowledged that the experience left her devastated.
Kim acknowledged that she felt “lost” for a full year following the incident when she appeared on the Alec Baldwin show in 2018. She claims that although she was never depressed, she lacked the drive to get up and work like I once did. She said, “It shook me,” at the moment.

Whatever the case, the business magnate was “grateful” for the transformative experience. She acknowledged that, despite how awful it was, it fundamentally altered the way she saw herself.
Following the event, she stated:
“I thought, ‘Oh, I’m worth so much.’ That needed to change in me,” she said at the time. A year later, Kim – who shares daughters North, Chicago, and sons Saint and Psalm with ex Kanye West – admitted that she thought she would die during the terrifying robbery.
“You’re just kind of bracing yourself for the moment that they’re gonna shoot you and kill you,” she told The Hollywood Reporter in 2019.
