King Charles’ Coronation: Asantehene Arrives In The Buckingham Palace

Before the King’s Coronation on May 6, 2023, King Charles III welcomed the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, and his wife, Lady Julia, to the Buckingham Palace on May 5.

The Asantehene and his wife are in London with monarchs and other world leaders at the invitation of the Royal family.

They will gather at Westminster Abbey on Saturday for the first coronation in over 70 years, which is expected to be a historic occasion.

Asantehene’s Special Invitation To Be At The Coronation Of King Charles

On Friday, May 5, 2023, Asantehene and Lady Julia will also attend the King’s official reception for guests from overseas.

Today, Uyunkar Domingo Peas, the leader of the Achuar Nation in the Ecuadorian Amazon, was also received at the Buckingham Palace.
