At the Bayview Hotel in Accra, highlife icon KK Fosu will commemorate 25 years in the music industry.
On Saturday, November 30, the music icon announced on social media that he would be celebrating his 25th anniversary in music.
The event, which is scheduled for Saturday, December 21 at 6:00 PM, is expected to be a memorable evening of music and celebration with special tributes and electrifying performances, according to the post that was shared on X.
As one of the biggest and finest singers in Ghanaian and international music, KK Fosu has accomplished many amazing things in music.
Recently, he was involved in a fatal accident that resulted in one death.
Through this forthcoming event, KK will honor the departed and possibly address some of the issues surrounding the episode that generated discussion at the time.
Born Kaakyire Kwame Fosu, the 43 year old hiplife musician is known for songs like “Suudwe”, “Anadwo Yede” among others.
The vocal god as he is affectionately called, KK started music at a tender age with a junior school choir back in Secondary School.
He joined a live band group named “Soundz Unlimited” where he played for two years. He was later signed by DKB Productions.
KK Fosu has more than five albums which includes– “Sudwe”, “Anadwo Yede”, “6’oclock”, Akonoba” and “Toffee”.
