
Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, the president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), has passed the required integrity test and is now eligible to run for a seat on the Confederation of African Football’s (CAF) Executive Committee.
Strong support from the West African Football Union (WAFU) Zone B is demonstrated by the fact that he will run unopposed for the seat.
The elections will take place at the Marriott Hotel Mena House in Cairo, Egypt, in March 2025, during CAF’s 14th Extraordinary General Assembly.
Kurt Okraku became President of WAFU Zone B in May 2021 after becoming President of the GFA in October 2019.

Kurt used to be the executive chairman of Dreams and a sports journalist. In addition, he has served on a number of executive committees for the Ghana Football Association and the Ghana Black Stars, the national team.
