Ghanaian Higlife superstar Kwabena Kwabena is celebrating 20 years in the music business with a number of events, including the upcoming Valentine concert.
On February 14, 2025, Kwabena Kwabena will kick off the festivities with his yearly Valentine’s Day performance at the Accra International Conference Center’s Grand Arena. He’s also working on his eighth album, which will be released during the anniversary celebrations.
Born George Kwabena Adu, the 47-year-old rose to fame in the music industry by appearing on Kontihene’s 2004 hit song, “Esi.” After becoming well-known with his first single, “Aso,” he went on to release a number of albums, such as “Dabi” in 2007 and “Daakye” in 2013. He has received recognition for his contributions to highlife music over the years, including awards for best songwriter and best vocal performance.
Kwabena Kwabena has thanked his admirers for their amazing support. His greatest reward, he claims, has been working in the space for 20 years now.
