Kylian Mbappé Hosts An Exciting Multi-sport Event For Young Athletes

Football icon Kylian Mbappé and his foundation IBKM started off Nike’s “Victory Mode” tour by hosting a multi-sport event for young athletes at the Nike House of Innovation in Paris.

Over 2,000 youth partook in running, breakdancing, tennis, football and b-ball challenges on the Champions Elysées.

Throughout the spring and summer, Nike will host six additional Victory Mode events in Greater Paris to encourage the youth to give their all through sports.

Nike collaborated with Mbappé motivated By Kylian Mbappé foundation to have a day of sports for large number of young athletes in France.

A huge number of teens gathered Sunday, May 5, before the notable Nike House of Innovation on the Winners Elysées to partake in the series of sporting activities with their role model.

“A year ago, I wanted to organize a sports challenge with 2,024 young people on the most beautiful avenue in the world with my foundation,” says Kylian, a Nike ambassador. “I am happy to say today that we have done it, and thanks to Nike, with whom we share the same values and ambitions: to inspire youth to give their best through sports.”

The event marks the first stage of Nike’s “Victory Mode” tour, which gives young people across Île-de-France the opportunity to discover new sports and participate in inspiring challenges.

The basketball player Victor Wembanyama will make his triumphant return to France on May 18 in Nanterre. Before the grand finale on August 11 at the Centre Pompidou, five performances in the greater Paris area will follow in June and July.

“Like all these young people, great champions have inspired me,” Kylian says. “They made me want to push my limits to achieve and be the best. That’s the victory mode. Today, I am proud to pass on these values to the next generation.”

Victory Mode events — organized in collaboration with Golden Blocks, Nike’s historical partner in France — are open to all.
