Kylian Mbappé wasn’t only happy as a jaybird for the hatrick he scored for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) against fourth division side Vannes. But the French star has also reached at a milestone 200 career goals at the club.
Mbappé scored a mind boggling three goals in Paris Saint-Germain’s 4-0 Coupe de France win over Vannes on Monday January 3, 2022.
The 23-year-old packed away his goals, taking his career goals to 201 – – over the course of about 17 final half minutes to guide PSG into the last 16 without a trace of four players, including Lionel Messi, who tested positive for Covid-19.
The hatrick is as of now, the tenth of his career and takes his complete number of goals for PSG to 150 in only 196 matches since joining from Monaco in 2018.
There has been a lot of supposition about Mbappé’s future in the French team, with PSG turning down a $188 million proposal for the Frenchman from Spanish giant Real Madrid in August 2021.
Mbappé conceded at the time that he wanted to leave PSG, but now the player says, he is fully dedicated to completing the season with PSG.
speaking to CNN’s Becky Anderson in a recent interview, Mbappé said:
“I will give everything I have to win the Champions League, the league and the cup,” he told CNN’s Becky Anderson. “And to give all the pleasure to the fans because they deserve it.
“I honest [about wanting to leave]. I gave a feeling, I gave what I have in my heart,” he said. “I’m happy to stay … it’s my city too. I’m French … I want to win everything this season.”
