Lady Gaga Receives Backlash For Her “Pointless” Transgender Grammy Speech

After Lady Gaga used her acceptance speech to make a political statement at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night in support of the transgender community, many fans responded.

She said that transgender people were “not invisible” after accepting the Grammy for best pop duo/group performance alongside Bruno Mars.

‘Trans people deserve love. The queer community deserves to be lifted up. Music is love,’ she said.

The hitmaker’s seventh studio album, ‘Mayhem’, which will be out in the upcoming weeks, features the new single “Abracadabra,” which Gaga released following her speech.

Fans who were unhappy with the politics at the awards ceremony have been greatly incensed by these remarks.

Some of the remarks made on social media following her speech are listed below:

• ‘The queer community deserves to be lifted up’ is an odd meaningless statement. Why do they deserve it? And lift up to where?’ Peter Leo said on X.

• Another person by the name Joseph, also shared, said: ‘Yeah, Hollywood is a cult and we all see it now. America doesn’t want these ideas floating around anymore. Stfu and stop telling people what their morals should be. Just dance, monkey.’

• Another person wrote, “F***k you with your so called Invisible”

In fact, Lady Gaga was subjected to harsh online criticism from a large number of fans from different countries, some of which were unprintable words.
