For some music pundits, they can’t understand why Lamisi, a songstress with so much music talent has still not gotten to the higher statures true to form. They infer Lamisi has what it takes to be perhaps one of the biggest acts in the World.
The Ghanaian songstress who has been in the music business since 2008, began her career as a lead artist for The Patch Bay Band performing all through Ghana.
The African Music Afro-soul, Pop music artist couldn’t have been in any other trade but music, taking a gander at her vocal capacities. She has performed with Ghana’s top entertainers like, Sarkodie, Samini, Rocky Dawuni, Samini, Afro-Moses, Atongo Zimba, Becca and some more.
The singer-songwriter from the Upper East Region of Ghana, has an album surprisingly with such good tracks on it. The album (‘Brighter Side‘) has world-class tunes which are produced and mastered in France. The quality other than the great tunes recounts to greats stories alongside delightful titles.
Lamisi whose real name is Regina Lamisi Awiniman Anabilla Akuka has beautiful singles which includes “Mr Strawberry”, “Kuul Runnings” and one of the favourite of the people “Tanka Fanka” which denoted her introduction solo profession.
Lamisi released a single tune “The Way You Control“. This tune has had a significant airplay and is doing very well in Ghana and over the globe.
In a recent interview, Lamisi uncovered that, among every one of her tunes, she has her top choice. Surprisingly, when she went to France to master her records, the producer was significantly more slanted to different tracks far from her favourite. That by itself, reveals to her how great her album is.
She is one of the few artists to have featured on Ghana’s first Reggae/Dancehall Compilation by Irie Ites Studio in 2016.
Lamisi’s music talent was roused by listening to Miriam Makeba, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Angelique Kidjo and numerous other great performers around the world.
