David Dontoh, an actor from Ghana, has appeared in the sixth season of the American TV series “Snowfall”.
On March 6, 2023, Snowfall posted photos of the veteran actor with the lead characters, Leo and Wanda, on their Facebook page. In their matching kente and African outfits, the pictures showed all three of them looking very beautiful.
Numerous Ghanaians have expressed their pride since the images were released that one of their incredible legendary actors from the popular series would appear in the movie.
The Award winning David Dontoh is an experienced actor who has worked in film industry for decades and contributed to promoting Ghana to the rest of the world.
The 59 year-old actor has appeared in numerous films, including “Kukurantumi: Road to Accra, “Heritage Africa,” “Confessions,” “Victim of Love,” “Welcome Home,” “Ties that Bind,” and “Kweba” and many more films.
The role he played isn’t at this point known, but he has been casted in the FX restored series for a 6th and last season which debuted on February 22, 2023, with the finale showing at some point in April.
John Singleton, Eric Amadio, and Dave Andron created the American crime drama series Snowfall, which premiered on July 5, 2017 on FX.
The first crack epidemic and its effects on the city are the focus of the series, which is set in 1983 in Los Angeles. It tells the stories of a number of people whose lives are fated to cross: Franklin Saint, a 20-year-old drug dealer, Mexican luchador Gustavo “El Oso” Zapata, CIA agent Teddy McDonald, and Lucia Villanueva, the niece of a Mexican crime boss.
The series, which premiered on Showtime in 2014, was picked up by FX in September 2016 for a ten-episode season.
It was renewed by the network in August 2017 for a second season, which debuted on July 19, 2018. The show was renewed for a third season in September 2018, which aired on July 10, 2019.
The series was renewed by FX in August 2019 for a fourth season, which was originally supposed to premiere in 2020. However, the COVID-19 pandemic temporarily halted filming.
On February 24, 2021, the fourth season debuted. In Walk 2021, FX restored the series for a fifth season which debuted on February 23, 2022.
“Snowball” was renewed by FX in April 2022 for a sixth and final season, which premiered on February 22, 2023, and will end sometime in April.
