Sports commentator and advocate, Sarfo Abebrese has passed away. As per reports, he passed on in the US of America. On Friday, he reportedly passed away in his sleep.
Before his demise, Sarfo was chatting and engaging in social media activity earlier on Thursday.
Sarfo Abebrese was the founder and President of the Coalition of Supporters Unions of Africa (COSUA).
COSUA is a pan-African organization that uses sports to promote peace and development across the continent of Africa and strengthen African unity.
The Supporters Union of Ghana (SUGHA), which had emerged from the ashes of the May 9 stadium disaster to build national and continental unity through sports, established the organization in September 2006.
Lawyer Sarfo Abebrese was a lawyer and an Attorney and Counselor-At-Law of the New York Supreme Court in the United States.
He worked alongside gurus Kwabena Yeboah and Carl Tuffour as sports commentators on Ghana Television for so many years.
