Liverpool FC has renewed the contract of Isaac Mabaya. During a number of appearances with Jürgen Klopp’s first team during the Asia tour and training camp in Austria last summer, the versatile Academy prospect caught people’s attention.
Despite his versatility, he was primarily used as an attacking option from right back.
The 18-year-old first joined the Academy when he was six years old, and when he was 16, he made it to the U-18 team.
Mabaya is now prepared to resume his upward trajectory with the Reds after putting in a lot of effort to recover from a frustrating early-season injury that slowed his progress this season.
