Lizzo Makes History At BET Awards


Born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, Lizzo expertly came into the music scene in 2010, and since that time to date, she has unfathomably pushed to higher statures.

Today, 28th June, 2020, Lizzo left a mark on the world as she was declared on Billboard’s Instagram page as the only artist in BET Awards history to be selected for both best female R&B pop artist and best female hiphop artist around the same time.

According to the music chart organization, no artist has ever made this record. Lizzo has for quite a while, worked for this and made it in great style.

This honor is an addition to her numerous honors, as she is also the winner of the Best Pop Solo Performance, at the Grammy Awards.
